With nearly a decade of experience as a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer in the mining industry, Mark has witnessed firsthand the challenges mining operations face when trying to make data-driven decisions. Too often, critical insights are either buried in complex data or simply unavailable, making it difficult to measure and improve asset performance effectively.
Determined to bridge this gap, Mark has developed a custom software solution while working in the field—one that streamlined maintenance tracking, improved asset reliability, and provided meaningful KPIs for operational decision-making. The success of this tool led to the creation of TerraTraax, a SaaS platform designed specifically to help mining companies reduce downtime, optimize maintenance strategies, and increase operational efficiency.
Today, TerraTraax is in use at multiple mining sites, including some of the world’s largest mining companies, and continues to expand across North America. His mission is to empower mining professionals with the tools they need to make smarter, faster, and more cost-effective decisions—transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive real results.
